Just seven years ago, I was working as a restaurant manager.

At the time, I knew so little about publishing that the idea of being traditionally published – regardless of who or how – was more than glamorous.

 

But this turned out to be a huge disappointment.

 

The publisher wasn’t helpful at all.

 

When I received the first edition copies of my book...

 

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

 

There were more mistakes than I even wanted to admit!

 

The book’s reputation was so soured that there was no point in re-releasing it.

 

I was devastated.

 

From all the book reviewers I’d sent my book to, only a few came back…

 

And even those were less than great reviews.

 

The following couple of years were harsh…

 

 

My publisher was less than transparent about my actual sales, as I later realized I was stuck in a contract I couldn’t end.

 

I felt stuck in a job I was burning out in…

 

And the wrenching ache to have freedom for my family and to write was growing stronger.

 

I needed a solution.
